About
This website is for educational purposes only. Wheelies are inherently dangerous stunts and are illegal on public streets, parking lots, and elsewhere… so please do not attempt to do them.
This site is meant satisfy your curiosity about how to ride a wheelie, by providing you with a fairly comprehensive sampling of tutorials on the subject, authored by your peers, and uploaded to (and collected from) various public websites on the Internet.
The content of the website falls into 3 main categories:
- Video Tutorials – These, generally, are youtube videos, which were embedded into the website, using the code provided by youtube. In all cases, we have attempted to give credit to the person or organization who originally uploaded the video on youtube. If you feel we gave credit to the wrong profile, please contact us.
- Written Text Tutorials – There are only a few instructional tutorials on the site which are in text. Some of these were written by one author and some were written by several. Many are being republished under ‘Creative Commons’ licenses, such as the one found here.
- Narrative Copy – In order to organize the various tutorials into a useful and search-able knowledge base, a certain amount of ‘contextual copy’ needed to be added to the videos, as they offer no real value in a text search dominated environment.
